home made lean beef burgers!! find the leanest ground meat you can find. Then chop up onion, red, yellow, and green pepper. Cook mushrooms in a pan and roll up some of the chopped veggies into the ground meat. roll the meat into Patties which you have weighed so you know approximately how much protein , fat, and carbs are in each patty. serve the Patties with mushrooms on top of a whole wheat bun or two slices of whole grain bread. Add more onions and a bit of low calorie sauce of you’re choice. Make sure to add the calories from the sauce!
Serve with a side of spinache and a some other source of carbs if the bread isn’t enough ( little bit of rice , or perhaps the sauce you used already adds enough carbs, check!!!)
