To dive deeper than 55 meters on one breath Iโve decided to remove the mask and blind myself. One less air space to think about equalizing under the intense pressure and one less sense to burn oxygen and distract me. If diving blind folded into pitch black water ,holding your breath , with the weight of a car on your chest sounds terrifyingโฆ itโs because it is… which explains why itโs difficult for me to explain the feeling of diving to these depths and coming back fully calm and present. Itโs been an immense challenge to tune my body to reach its max potential inside the water and out. From squatting 250kg to depths over 55 meters on breath hold.
